What Love Will Do - Part 2

Receiving Christ by faith and growing in His love creates an awareness among His disciples. His love connects us to each other. It produces the ability to experience the expanse and appreciate the magnitude of His great love in all of its dimensions. The love of Christ isn’t flat, bland and boring; without expression. It is bold, vibrant and full!

Ephesians 3:17 speaks of the Faith of Love. Verse 18 talks about the Ability of Love and verse 19 tells of the Superior Knowledge of Love.

Ephesians 3:19 declares that as smart or intelligent as a person may be according to earthly standards, to know the Love of Christ far exceeds any natural knowledge. If you really want to become a scholar, seek a degree in Love. All earthly knowledge will become obsolete and vanish: no longer useful or meaningful. But the love of Christ is eternally relevant. The more we thirst for His love, the more we will drink of Him and be filled with all the fullness of God. What an amazing reward!

Love exposes us to the fullness of God and makes us suitable to be filled with His goodness. Without His love our hearts are closed and barren. The Lord’s love fills us to overflowing while preparing us for more. This is possible because love gives. Love can’t help but give. Giving in God’s love pleases Him and He expresses His appreciation and pleasure by giving us more. Thus we are filled to capacity and yet He keeps preparing the giver for more!

2 Corinthians 9:10

Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness...Amen
