Same Old Thing Or Something New? Part 3

We have discussed two biblical characters who broke with tradition and followed the voice of God. We cited some of what you can expect to happen when you venture into the unknown at the Lord's unctioning. Now let's look at the PHENOMENAL results of allowing God to work through our obedience.

  1. The Affect, Impact, Influence and Manifestation (AIIM) will continue far beyond your earthly lifetime. Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Ezekiel, Paul and many others all greatly AIIM us today. They continue to point us in the right direction through their examples of faithfully following the Word of the Lord.
  2. Obedience to His Word pleases our Father, identifies you as one of His children and sets you apart from other people. Matthew 3:17 And behold, a voice from heaven said, This is My Son, My Beloved, in Whom I delight! It isn't necessary or advisable to toot your own horn. The Father will make you known when, where and how He pleases.
  3. You are known and noticed in the spirit realm. Acts 19:15 But one evil spirit retorted, Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you? So much of what is done in the earthly realm has no spiritual or eternal significance. Obedience will cause you to stand out in both realms.
  4. Diligently hearkening to the voice of the Lord makes you eligible for more opportunities and assignments. Looking at the life of Paul after his conversion supports this. Paul was used in so many ways and locations because he could be trusted to stay on course and complete the assignment.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, noble) fight, I have finished the race. I have kept (firmly held) the faith.

What directive has God given you that seems challenging and risky? Whatever it is, God has designed it to launch you into your destiny! Trust Him to divinely direct your life and you will see the hand of God moving mightily in your life and in every assignment to which He sends you. Amen!
